So I had something to say.

Alistair is awesome.

Oh wait, that's not what I was going to say, but it needed to be said anywayz...

I'm setting sail! Changing everything, doing a complete 180...I think that's the degree I should be refereeing to. What do I mean? Well, I'm setting sail, for Full Sail University. Or going to try at least. I've been doing a massive amount of thinking, (again) and I decided I needed to make drastic decisions for my life, or else I'd be stuck. Choking on nothing.

I'm quitting my shitty job at Wal-mart and going to apply for Full Sail University and attempt to get my Bachelor's Degree of Science for Game Art.

I love creating characters, concept art is fun, I want to learn how to make living breathing (at least in games) characters, bring them to life. I want to tell stories through interactive gameplay, make a character that's so compelling, so complex that you relate to them, feel like them...feel like you ARE them.

It's what I want.

And I'm going to do it.

Nothing is going to get in my way, not even myself.

So I suppose this is war. War with myself. THIS IS WAR, I will push and shove, I will fight even if there's nothing to fight for. As they say, if there's a will there's a way, there's always hope, right?

Of course.

I'm excited, everything's changing, and even if I don't get to where I really want to be, at least I'll have the satisfaction of knowing I did SOMETHING. That I tried, I strived and I didn't give up or give in to my self-doubt.

Afterall, you can't fight a war on your own, you need to take all the help you can get, no matter where it comes from or what it is.

And I hope that you all have luck with whatever it is you want to do with your life. Never give up, I did and it sucked. Never let anyone tell you can't do something, never doubt yourself. Always push, always shove, when you fall, pick yourself off. If you put your all into something, if you tell yourself that you can be the best, then you CAN and you WILL. Attack something with a negative mindset, tell yourself you'll never amount to anything, then you wont, then you WILL fail.

Even if you never get to where you wanted to be...

At least be happy knowing you did something about it.

Be happy you tried.

Be happy you risked something.

Be happy with what you have.

Be happy you can say you never gave up.

As long as you believe in yourself, life doesn't seem so bad.

Always fight for yourself and don't regret a damned thing.
