i'm in a incredibly obsessive mass effect mood lately, which is odd because my beloved xbox is forever broken and i can't play this game... ;___; life blows. not to mention i'm horrendously sick and tired from working...henywayz.

this is kinda fanart. though this character is actually OC. hm...brief description of this fan thingy i'm doing (i'm that bored...) vera shepard is the younger sister of commander orpheus shepard (my main guy in mass effect -squishes him to death-) she was the flight lieutenant and chief helmsman of the SSV Berlin. her ship was part of a squadron that was to investigate the recent influx of geth outside the veil. unexpectedly, her squadron was ambushed by the geth and she was forced to make a crash landing on a nearby planet.

from which she attempted to keep herself and her surviving crewman alive by lying low and waiting for the geth to leave before sending out a an emergency signal, however a fellow comrade panicked and activated the signal. she watched helplessly as geth tore into the Berlin and dragged her wounded comrades away and executed them. she herself was almost killed until the SSV Normandy "conveniently" shows up and Commander Shepard woops some geth ass! hooray for 'conveniences'! they make stories fun...sometimes...well they make them easier to write. shut up.

henywayz, after that she gets dragged into the fun of the mass effect storyline! hooray! i'm going to do more stuff for mass effect, because i love it...unfortunately i can't remember what my commander shepard looks like, except he has a scar over his right eye, just like her! hooray for matching scars!

right, so i liked how this turned out, holy crap...is that a shoddy background! my god it is! i referenced the hell out of normandy interior pictures and cg'd stuff. fun. <.< i tried to keep it similar to the ME style, mainly the diffuse grain filter, for what i can remember, ME had this awesome grain filter that made everything twice as epic! so yeah.
