Venus

i know i said i wasn't going to be doing other artwork that didn't relate to my comics, but meh. i lie to myself alot. so anyway, here's a pic i did that i have a lot of mixed feelings about. i like the pose and the coloring of her skin and that's about it. everything else i did irritates me, especially the hair. (aside from the wings) after the skin i just kinda rushed because i wanted to get it done.

i haven't drawn faeries in...years.

anyway, before you comment on the wings i must let you know that i did not draw them! i used a stock image that i found by



i just loved how the wings looked, plus i'm horrible at wings. i attempted my own, i tried for three hours and just cut them out and decided to either find brushes or stock. the wings are quite awesome, and i'm glad that ChaosFay put them up for stock, otherwise i probably would have been crying by now.

so meh.

not much else to say about her except i'm using her as a character for something. i really only drew her because i could NOT find ANY pictures of faery children which just blows my mind.

since when did faeries become such sluts?

and yes, i left the child nude. a) because i couldn't think of any clothing that would actually look good on her and b) she's a faery, get the hell over it. i don't know whether to put a mature content thinger on here...i guess i'll just put a warning?
